Drum roll please

My longest running wip has come out of hibernation and is finally completed. I bought this Jo Sharp DK cotton when we were living in the Blue Mountains at the Katoomba wool shop. First I cast on a Jo Sharp lace jumper, got too busy with work and finishing study and decided to frog it and started again when we moved back up the North Coast. Then I lost weight and frogged it again.

I decided to cast on the February lady sweater even though it would have been a lot quicker and easier in 10ply wool as the pattern suggests. Anyway I found some cool faux leather buttons at spotlight to match the currant colour and I am happy to say I have finally made myself a jumper.

And it actually fits. I made full length sleeves, I wasn't as comfortable with the 3/4 ones. So my UFO's are down to Jays socks, my cross stitch and I have Just cast on a pressie for Imogens 9th birthday next month.

  1. Hi Mel
    great to hear from you!
I have this cardigan in my Ravelry queue but I still haven't found the right yarn for it. Yours looks fabulous, and I love the matching buttons. How amazing that you got them a Spotty, I hardly ever find what I'm looking for there, yet I still manage to come out with a bag full of stuff lol!
