Day Trip.

We made the most of our day yesterday and took a drive South to Billabong Zoo. The Summer is flying by and I went back to work this week so the kids were keen for an adventure today and so were we. I love our Australian animals, check out the Koala, Crocodile, Lazy Wombat and the Cassowary.



The girls had a great time and so did we.
 
 
 We stopped off on the way home at Ricardoes Tomatoes. We were hoping to pick strawberries but there wasn't much to pick thanks to our recent weather so we stocked up on some gourmet goodies instead. Yum!

    looked like fun day out. I hope it didn't get too hot last week for you, it got 36 in Katoomba can you beleave that!

    Ive been checking out baby patterns on Ravelry
    have to wait a little while longer to see what sex the baby is. I go for my 13 week scan tomorrow.

    It got up 37-38 here, not too bad with the sea breeze. Going back to work was good, but I had been enjoying some domestic bliss! I saw you faved some baby patterns, so cute. Hope you are feeling a little better!

    Hi Mel,

    It looks like you had a lovely day - I've been meaning to take the trip down to Ricardo's with my son for some time - strawberries are his absolute favourite thing to eat.

    BTW we've been discussing on Ravelry when to have our first meeting for the craft group. Could you check out the discussion and put in your two cents' worth?
