Fluttered.

I have finally made some socks for Carla, I think she asked me a year ago! I even cheated and opted for a sockette pattern Fluttered . A Fabulous free pattern on Ravelry. I have had this yarn in my stash for a long while too, its a gorgeous Evoke Hand dyed.

Tilted duster and a beanie.

I made Josie a Tilted duster for her 12th birthday. I just can't believe she is 12 to be honest and that I can make adult patterns for her now. I had a couple of left over balls of the moda vera I used so i made up the free fisherman's rib hat form the ball band.

Carla's bag

I finally got around to making a bag for my friend Carla, I have been getting a lot of compliments on my bag and Carla has been a very good friend, I wanted to make sure she knew that her kindness had not gone unnoticed, I hope she likes it.

Anzac Biscuits

Our family tradition is to make a batch of Anzac biscuits on Anzac day, there is nothing like the smell of them baking! We take time to remember and think of our diggers. Lest we forget.

Choccie Sockies

Finally I have finished Jays Choccie Sockies, I used the Bamboo socks pattern off ravelry and the yarn is from Evoke. Just in time as the weather starts to cool down. I am proud to say that just leaves one wip, my cross stitch. So I cast on a new project last night for Josie, a tilted duster. I just couldn't help myself. The best part is my wool stash is so busted I can actually start looking for some new yarn, Yay!!!!

Mumma seal and pup.

I have been super craft stash busting and trying to sort out our finances this year. I have cleared through nearly all of my craft supplies and have a small stash of yarn for my knitting left. I made the seal mumma and her pup with some rainbow felt from Winterwood and aim to gift them for the next birthday party one of my younger girls is invited to. So craft stash busting and finance sorting on track.

Baa Ram Ewe.

I made this little guy last night, after sewing him up I thought he would be so much cuter with a fleece so I needle felted in a lovely fleece coat. While I was felting I kept thinking of the movie Babe and in my little rhythm I got Baa Ram Ewe stuck in my head. So off to the video shop today to borrow Babe, the girls are watching it now as I type.
